With over 120 years of dignified history and a Romanesque facade, Scoville is an iconic Carleton Campus building that has stood the test of time. Currently on the National Register of Historic Places, the building has gone through many changes since it's original status of the campus library. Currently hosting the offices of Student Financial Services and Admissions, Scoville once hosted a plethora of different departments and facilities.
In 2011 the Cinema and Media Center Department relocated to the Weitz Center for Creativity, which was the impetus for the building's most recent renovations. Completed in the May of 2017, the building offers a strong first impression to Carleton Prospective Families, and the updated wiring, insulation, windows, and HVAC system make the building more energy efficient.
